Bill Veale was the Chief Assistant Public Defender in Contra Costa County, California. He represented April Gallop in her lawsuit accusing Vice President Dick Cheney, Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld, and Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff General Richard Myers of mass murder and treason for their complicity in the attacks of 9/11. The principal factual assertions in the lawsuit were never referred to in any of the Court’s opinions.
